When you order "Shadows Into Light" metal stamps, also known as SIL by Font Fixation, you are ordering a tapered metal font stamp perfect for hammering all metals. Aluminum to stainless steel, these metal stamps can take a hammer blow and will leave a perfect stamp impression every time.
- Shadows Into Light is available in two sizes: 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm, 6.5mm
- Shank size 1/4" : 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm
- Shank size 5/16" : 6.5mm
- The symbols set comes with 8 stamps.
My two cents on this font:
1. Only specific to the 6.5mm, this font is a very large, thick lined font, and may be more suited to soft metal stampers. While rated for stainless steel, without a solid stamping base you may encounter difficulty filling in the letters of this font with color.
2. If you have a stamping post, heavy hammer, and/or you are an experienced stainless steel stamper, you will have no trouble with this font in 6.5mm with stainless steel.
